For any aspiring writers out there, would you please share a short bit of writing advice?
My best advice is to read as much as possible, including craft books that can help with some of the fundamentals of fiction. My mentor once advised me to trust my process, but it took me a long time to recognize that I had a process at all. What works for one person may not work for you. Find your process and trust that it works.

What is the last book you raved about and what did you love about it?
The last book I raved about was Harlem Rhapsody by Victoria Christopher Murray. I just love people getting to know Jessie Fauset, and Victoria did such fine research. She’s a writer whom I’ve admired for many years.
