We are excited for our three Picks of the Month! For July it is Lisa Scottoline with her new thriller The Unraveling of Julia. For August we will welcome Francesca Serritella to discuss her new novel Full Bloom. And for September we can’t wait to welcome Elin Hilderbrand back to the show, this time with her daughter Shelby Cunningham who co-authored their new novel The Academy. We just know those will be three incredible live episodes!

This Week’s Episode
On Wednesday, July 2nd at 7pm Eastern on the F&F Facebook page and YouTube channel we will re-air one of our favorite episodes for our vault.
In honor of Independence Day, we will feature our show from January 17, 2024 with special guest, #1 New York Times bestselling author Kristin Hannah where the full fab Four — Mary Kay Andrews, Kristin Harmel, Kristy Woodson Harvey & Patti Callahan Henry — join Kristin in a discussion about her smash success novel, The Women.
If you missed this show when it first aired — or if you just want to watch or listen to it again after having savored this phenomenal novel — now’s your chance! An eye-opening portrayal of Army nurses during the Vietnam War, The Women is at once an intimate portrait of coming of age in a dangerous time and an epic tale of a nation divided. What better time to reflect on the service of our nation’s brave Army nurses than during Fourth of July week?
Kristin Hannah is the award-winning and bestselling author of more than 20 novels including the international blockbuster, The Nightingale, the instant No.1 NYT bestsellers The Great Alone and The Four Winds, and Firefly Lane, which was the No.1 Netflix series around the world the week it came out. Her novels have hit the NYT, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Indie bookstores’ bestseller lists; won the People’s Choice award for best fiction; been named Book of the Year by Book Of the Month Club; been voted the Best Historical Novel of the Year by Goodreads; been chosen as book club picks by Reese Witherspoon and the TODAY Show; and been highlighted as best books of the year by outlets such as Amazon, iTunes, and Buzzfeed.
Watch the video broadcast of this interview as it re-airs Wed 7/2 at 7pm ET on the F&F Facebook group page & YouTube channel. Catch the audio version when we re-air it on our podcast Fri 7/4.
