Tune in at 7pm ET for TONIGHT’s episode!
Join us Wednesday, February 12th at 7pm Eastern on the F&F Facebook page and YouTube channel as Mary Kay Andrews and Kristy Woodson Harvey welcome author Christina Clancy to discuss The Snowbirds, her latest page-turning story of a couple who flee winter in the Midwest for Palm Springs, where they find their relationship at a crossroads.
Christina Clancy is the author of two previous novels, The Second Home and Shoulder Season, which have been featured on Good Morning America, CNN, and Travel & Leisure. Her work has also appeared in the New York Times, The Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, The Sun magazine, and in various literary journals. A former college English professor with a PhD in creative writing, she splits her time between Madison, Wisconsin, and Palm Springs. Described as The Last Thing He Told Me meets Fleishman Is in Trouble, The Snowbirds has gotten raves from Annabel Monaghan (“emotionally wise and beautifully written”) and Fiona Davis (“an absolute treat”) and has been called “a riveting exploration of midlife yearning,” by People magazine.

Latest News from the Fab Four!
PATTI CALLAHAN HENRY had a beautiful week writing and then heading to Savannah for a few sessions of the Savannah Book Festival where she was able to hang out with our beloved Meg W and MKA, see some of our favorite F&F author guests like Scott Turow and Jean Hanff Korelitz, and listen to fascinating talks by Liz Moore and Sebastian Junger. Then Patti went on to Charleston to see her first hardcover of The Story She Left Behind at Buxton Books where she signed over 300 pre-orders! What a drop dead gorgeous weekend in South Carolina! Now back to Birmingham and preparing for book tour and so many INCREDIBLE events. And DO NOT FORGET that next week Patti starts her four weeks of LIVE FACEBOOK events every Tuesday until publication! Join us for live Q&A, stories behind the stories, and a new giveaway every single week. Join me HERE.
KRISTY WOODSON HARVEY is on pins and needles for the last game of her son’s basketball season, which will determine whether they walk away from the season undefeated conference champs! Send us good vibes! When her thoughts are not consumed by three-pointers and layups, she is feverishly working on her secret project for 2026 and cannot wait to tell you all about it. She is also hoping to announce her book tour for Beach House Rules any day now. In the meantime, she has lots of fun events coming up. Check out her website for more info!
KRISTIN HARMEL can’t decide whether her favorite part of the Super Bowl was watching author (and F&F fave) Lisa Scottoline post repeatedly about Flat Bradley (her cardboard cutout of Bradley Cooper, who hilariously makes an appearance on social media during every Philadelphia Eagles game), or watching the various Dunkin’ commercials celebrating (if that’s the right word!) Kristin’s birthplace of Boston. This week, she’s celebrating both her husband’s and her son’s birthdays (Happy birthday, Jason and Noah!) and continuing with physical therapy to get her broken leg back in shape! Meanwhile, Gallery Books is giving away 50 copies of Kristin’s upcoming novel The Stolen Life of Colette Marceau, so enter on Goodreads to win one now.
MARY KAY ANDREWS enjoyed five days of soaking up sunshine and book talks on Tybee Island and Savannah, where she and PCH and Meg Walker enjoyed the Savannah Book Festival. Thursday night Meg and MKA were inspired by Anna Quindlen’s opening talk, and loved getting to meet new friend Valerie Bauerlein, whose sensational true crime book is The Devil At His Elbow (about the Murdaugh murders trial). Friday Meg and MKA took a little thrift store jaunt with Jean Hanff Korelitz, who joined them for dinner that night. Saturday was wall-to-wall author talks, and Sunday was a day of beach walking on Tybee.
