Funny you mention Stephen King - Again I am reading his Memoir -,On Writing /-!which I highly recommend.
A Master horror story teller he is! His book Misery which is also a movie with Kathy Bates made my heart race & the hair in my arms stand up!
We like to be scared because It’s good to get that adrenaline turned on every now and then!
